My name is Natiq Aghayev also known as “Defonten” on the net.
I am an Art Director, Concept Artist, and Animator with 20+ years of experience in a broad spectrum of design fields, which includes production of Video Ads and Music Videos for TV and online media, creating all kinds of visual content for Computer Games as well as having extensive experience in Corporate Branding and traditional 2D Desktop Publishing designs for both print and online media. Throughout my career, I have gained practical experience in creating high-quality visual content for a diverse range of products and clients, which I believe helps a lot in finding solutions and individual approaches in the ever-evolving industry of computer graphics.
As an artist, I strongly believe in the power of Ideas. Great Ideas, in their turn, need great and impactful Visual Representation. That’s exactly what I do. That’s what I see as my main mission.

The original short is an animated movie dedicated to a real person’s Birthday Celebration, and it also features other real-life characters presented in a funny, cartoony and stylized way.
Over the course of my career I had a chance to create a diverse array of 2D designs for various clients across the whole globe one of the most prominent ones being Azerbaijan’s largest mobile operator, Azercell Telecom.
